House on Haunted Hill (1959)

directed by: william castle

every time i see a movie with Vincent Price in it i instanly like it haha.
Vincent Price has that charming yet sinister and macabre presence to him that

(along with his recognizable eerie voice) is ghoulishly fun.

and that's what this movie is, ghoulishly fun and gruesomely clever. don't expect being scarred by todays standards, but of it's time it has some shocking scenes. it's more of a who-dunnit than a horror movie which can always be fun trying to figure out the end before it happens.

the presence of Vincent Price and the glamourous 50's look of the actors, props and the interior of the house always make me giddy every time i watch this. definitely classic horror gold.
