Hotel Ghost Stories # 3

i'm excited to tell this one because it just happened an hour ago.

i'm working the graveyard shift at a hotel in Westwood, Los Angeles right now and we just had a guest come up to the front desk to complain that he and his family could not get any sleep cause they could hear a female housekeeper knock on each door down the hall and saying "housekeeping" while opening and closing the door.

he was irate that a housekeeper would be so loud at 4 in the morning and we were baffled because we don't have a graveyard housekeeper on staff...let alone a third female (we only have two females on the graveyard shift).

explaining to him that housekeeping doesn't come till at least 8am the guest argued saying the he very clearly heard the knocking, doors open and shutting and a woman saying housekeeping at least eight times.

upon further questioning of a few freaked out staff members, i discovered that this "new" hotel was actually an "old" hotel that has been renovated and bought by a different company...and supposedly back in the "old" hotel days a woman committed suicide on the 6th floor.

could it have been an attempt to get a free night stay?

OR

something else?

there are more eerie hotel stories to come...
