Hotel Ghost Stories # 2

the hardest part of working the graveyard shift is staying up all night.

when i was working at a hotel in Downtown San Diego we tried a few things to keep each other up, but sometimes you're just too tired.

one of my co-workers had a long day and was unable to stay up in the wee hours of the morning...so, he found a vacant room (which happened to be the penthouse suite on the 19th floor) and decided to take a lil nap on the couch in the room.

the only light in the room was the glare of the television he had left on as he proceeded to dose off.

he then was awaken with a pressure around his neck, the televison had turned off and a slight whisper of a man who barked an order at him, "you better get out of here before someone gets hurt."
he quickly did just that.

wide awake now and frantic, he shared the story with me with such conviction.

knowing that odd things have occured since the suicide of the woman, i was baffled to hear it was a voice of a man.
upon questioning around, we uncovered that a construction worker had jumped off the top of the building (19th floor?) following word that he was being laid off. this supposedly occured prior to the hotel's opening which was only 3 years prior.

could it have been a dream that felt so real?

OR

something else?

there are more eerie hotel stories to come...
